New Student Orientation

A multi-day program that takes place over the first few weeks at Rutgers and is designed to:

Assist students in the transition from high school to college.
Introduce new students to the community standards of academic integrity, anti-bias perspectives, cultural diversity, educational and developmental skills, and social life.
Foster university pride and community spirit through traditional events and programs.
Introduce new students to a wide range of involvement and leadership opportunities.

Over 650 enthusiastic sophomore, junior and senior student volunteers called "orientation leaders" implement this student-driven welcome program.
