Traci R. Scott

Ms. Traci R. Scott is a program officer with New Jersey After 3 (NJA3), a statewide public/private partnership created to expand and improve afterschool opportunities. Prior to joining NJA3, Traci worked with Foundations, Inc. as director for a comprehensive afterschool technical assistance project based in New Jersey and Michigan. While earning her Masters degree as a National Urban Fellow (NUF), Traci worked under Indiana University Vice Presidents of University Relations and Corporate Partnerships, and Institutional Development and Student Affairs. Leading up to entering the fellowship Traci was Program Director for middle-school afterschool programs in the South Bronx, and an administrator and bilingual counselor in the mental health field in Times Square.

She is a committed volunteer. Currently, she serves as the NUF NJ alumni coordinator and a member of other leadership level committees. Locally, she leads youth-focused initiatives as a steering committee member for Young Leaders United and Vision Council: Helping Children Succeed for the United Way of Greater Mercer County.  Traci holds a Masters in Public Administration from the City University of New York (CUNY)-Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and Spanish languages and literature from Kenyon College (Ohio). She studied at Columbia University’s School of Social Work and Moscow State University of Humanities.
