Jean Quinn

Vice President – Corporate Communications, The Provident Bank

 

Jean has nine years experience in employee and corporate communications with The Provident Bank. In this position, she ensures a clear and concise message is shared across the organization of more than 1,000 employees in 85 branches and six offices using print, web, video, and email.

She is the editor of “Inside Provident,” an award-winning employee publication published monthly, and editor of the Intranet site. Jean manages public relations and event management for the bank.

Prior to joining The Provident Bank, Jean worked for The McGraw-Hill Companies as a senior copywriter for 12 professional and reference book clubs. She also taught adult education computer classes at Middlesex County Vocational & Technical Schools.

Jean is the author of two professional reference books: Surviving Without A Secretary and Proven Successful Brochures and Methods for Direct Mail Marketing. She is editor of “The Gazette: Journal of the Wolfe Pack,” the longest continuously published mystery publication in the United States.

She holds a BA and MA in Humanities from Thomas Edison State College. She is a graduate of the National School of Banking. She holds a CTM from Toastmasters International.

Jean coordinates Thanksgiving food drives and holiday toy drives for Provident’s Headquarters and Woodbridge Loan Center locations. She has been a mentor at a Jersey City middle school and has participated in the State of New Jersey’s Department of Banking and Insurance’s financial literacy program for high school students. Jean is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity - Hudson County. She recently joined the North District Board of Junior Achievement – New Jersey.

She is the mother of two children, Thomas, a New Jersey State Trooper, and Alex, a student.
