Rutgers University's Panhellenic Association is comprised of the following member chapters; Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Lambda Theta Alpha, Omega Phi Beta, Sigma Delta Tau, Sigma Iota Alpha, Sigma Kappa and Zeta Tau Alpha. The administrative body of the Panhellenic Association shall be the Rutgers University Panhellenic Council.
The Council is lead by an Executive Board and Cabinet, all who serve one year terms. Officers are elected by delegates from the Council's member organizations. Delegates are selected by their organizations and also serve one-year terms.

Women interested in becoming a member of a Panhellenic Council sorority must participate in sorority recruitment, commonly referred to as "rush". Upper-class students and Transfer students may become a member at any time, freshmen women may only join at the start of the spring semester. Minimum eligibility requirements for membership are as follows:
Upper-class recruitment is held in the fall semester. Spring recruitment is scheduled for February 7-10. All women interested in participating in spring recruitment must register on-line via the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs website. Recruitment is open to all women as long as they meet the eligibility criteria outlined above. On-line registration will open in late November.
There shall be two types of meetings: Regular and Special. Regular meetings will take place weekly, September through April. Special meetings of the Panhellenic may be called by the President when necessary and shall be called by her upon the written request of any member delegate of the Panhellenic.
Each semester's new member classes are to attend at least one meeting of the Panhellenic prior to their initiation.
The voting members of the Council shall be the delegates of each fraternity holding membership.
