This award is presented to eight seniors who have made a significant impact upon the Greek community during their collegiate career. Through their involvement and leadership, they have become a "pillar" of the Rutgers Greek community. The following are the criteria by which candidates will be evaluated:
This award has been established to recognize Greek men and women for their achievements and contributions to the Greek and campus community during the 2007/2008 academic year. No more than fifteen (15) students will receive this recognition annually. Nominees may be sophomores, juniors or seniors. The following criteria will be used in evaluating the credentials of the nominees:

Greek Award of Distinction
This award is presented to the fraternity and sorority chapter presidents who have distinguished themselves over the past year. The following criteria will be used in evaluating the credentials of the nominees:

Outstanding Chapter President Award Application
This award is presented to the fraternity and sorority new members that have distinguished themselves during their first year of membership. Students that joined in Fall 07 and Spring 08 are eligible for this award. The criteria on which this award is based are as follows:

Outstanding New Member Award Application
This award has been established to recognize Greek men and women for their outstanding academic achievements. No more than five (5) students will receive this recognition annually. The following criteria will be used in evaluating the credentials of the nominee:
This award has been established to recognize Greek men and women for their outstanding community service contributions. No more than five (5) students will receive this recognition annually. The nominees may be from your own chapter or from other chapters. There is no class rank requirement for this award. The following criteria will be used in evaluating the credentials of the nominees:
This award has been established to recognize the chapter from each governing council that fully embraces the philosophical ideals of the Dance Marathon. The following criteria will be used to select the recipients of this award:
This award has been established to recognize the chapters that have excelled in the planning and execution of a chapter program or event. The following criteria will be used in evaluating the nominated program/event:
This award is meant to honor the fraternity and sorority chapter advisor(s) that provides service to his/her chapter, to individual members of the chapter and to the Greek community as a whole. Chapter advisors as well as members of the advisory board are eligible to be nominated for this award.
To be considered: Chapter must submit a written letter of nomination by Monday,
March 30, 2008.
This award is presented to an outstanding university administrator or faculty member. It is given to an individual who has contributed significant services to the Greek community and/or the member chapters. (Chapter advisors are not eligible). Chapters are encouraged to consider those members of the university staff or faculty that took time to provide assistance, present a program or help with a problem.
