Peer Leadership Mentor

Are you interesting in being a Peer Leadership Mentor for the Rutgers Rising Leaders Institute? The program is designed to engage participants in recognizing and developing their leadership potential in themselves, the University and their community. Each Peer Leadership Mentor will work closely with a group of students to assist in their leadership development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as peer advisor to a first year group.
Work with Associate and Assistant Directors and Leadership Intern.
Attend and assist with institute retreat in January.
Provide leadership in the planning of the practical elements.
Assist with and attend weekly Friday meetings.
Meet with students outside the Friday meeting time if needed.
Assist with Rising Leaders Graduation.
