Rutgers University Leadership Quest

Who: Incoming first year students
What: Summer Introduction to Rutgers
Why: Get a head start on the school year and develop essential leadership skills!
When: July 20-23, 2008

Come and jumpstart your college career by joining your peers for a fun filled pre-orientation session. LeadershipQuest is a four day, three night retreat designed to give first year students a chance to explore their leadership skills, connect with peers and upperclassman and to learn how to get involved at Rutgers. Students will get a chance to:

Meet other first year students and interact with upperclassmen student leaders
Go to an adventure course and develop team building skills
Engage with administration in an informal way
Learn and develop basic leadership skills, such as group dynamics, leadership styles and presentation skills
Interact with upperclassmen and learn how to get involved on campus
HAVE FUN

Participants will need to complete an application postmarked or emailed by May 30, 2008.Those invited to participate will be notified via email by no later than June 13th.

Cost of the Program

Each participant will be required to pay $275, this will include all lodging, meals, transportation, materials and adventure initiatives. Payment must be made upon acceptance by no later than June 27th. There are scholarships available for a select number of students.

New Brunswick Community Service Project
Leadership QUEST Closing Banquet
