Rutgers University Student Assembly and
Campus Councils

The Rutgers University Student Assembly (R.U.S.A.) is the undergraduate student government of Rutgers University - New Brunswick/Piscataway. R.U.S.A. consists of the Student Assembly and individual campus and school councils. The student assembly is the governing body made up of students from all across the campuses. The individual campus and school councils provide local student government on each of Rutgers - New Brunswick/Piscataway's five campuses and at its professional schools.

The Student Assembly meets on alternate Thursdays in the Student Activities Center Raritan River Lounge. The Campus Councils meet on the alternate weeks at various locations.

Elections for first year student positions will be held in late September/early October 2007. For more information, visit the RUSA website by clicking here External Page icon.
