Equipment Rental

Student Life has an audio-visual equipment loan program for student organizations hosting events in classroom space. Equipment includes data projectors and sound systems.

This reserved equipment will be available for pick up from 1:00pm to 4:00pm from the Student Activities Center(SAC) - Office of Student Involvement: (848) 932-6978.

All equipment must be returned between 9:00am and noon, the following business day.

Rental Options

Policies

  • Only registered Student Organizations can rent audio visual equipment.
  • Equipment can be rented over the phone or in person.
  • Organizations can book equipment two (2) days in advance up until to the end of the semester, as long as the desks are open.
  • Equipment will be billed within five (5) business days.
  • Pick-Up Information: Pick up the equipment Monday to Friday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. You must fill out a check-out form and provide RUID. Rentals are for the evening.
  • If an organization does not pick up the equipment that they reserved, it will be marked as a no show and the student organization will be charged the full rate. If a group cancels their equipment order, less than two days prior to meeting, they will be charged a late cancelation fee.
  • Equipment Drop-Off Information: Return the equipment the next day or Monday for equipment picked up on Friday, from 9:00am to noon to the same desk that they picked it up from. Desk staff will check to make sure all items are returned Equipment will be inspected while you wait. If there is damage or missing equipment you will be notified at that time and fees will be assessed.
  • If equipment is not returned by noon, the organization will be charged a late return fee. If the equipment is not returned the next business day, the organization will be charged for replacing the equipment. Other student organizations are dependent on the equipment being returned on time in good working order.
